In 2019, the local government, believing that there is hope in agriculture, and anchored on its vision of human capital development and a Barcelona with entrepreneurial and happy people living in a clean and safe environment under accountable and excellent governance, created a development pathway driven by transformative and innovative leadership, one that
translates vision into impactful and measured outcomes.
AgriHope is one actualization of this faith and vision. Sustained since its establishment on July 12, 2019, it has scaled up from a tourism farm site to a learning site for agriculture to a Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) farm school, all with corresponding national government accreditations.
